As of May 30, 2022, Google has decided to cancel sending emails through applications that do not support OAuth2.
Many people used accounts on the @gmail.com domain for various notifications and similar things. What about that?
There is a workaround.
- Log in to your gmail administration.
- Security option
- you must enable 2-factor authentication! (necessarily)
- next, you will be given the option Password to the application
- generate a new password here, which will be used in combination with the flood login for the flood project (ex. xxx@gmail.com + original_password, now it will be xxx@gmail.com + password_2)
Yes, Google allows you to have multiple passwords for one account, and according to this password, it matches what it is used for.
